Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the WBD Video Editing Internships NYC, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be a rising student, senior student, or graduate student (18 years of age or older)
- Must be in good academic standing (2.8 or higher GPA)
- Must be actively enrolled in a US-accredited college or university degree program for the duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- You must have the legal right to work in the United States. US international students must hold an F1 visa to be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Superior organization and communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of industry standard video editing tools (eg: After Effects, Avid, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Experience in production, audio mixing, music research, or bonus marketing
- It is highly preferred that you have a reel linked to your resume showcasing your recent video editing work
