University of Guelph Ariel Food Institute Scholarship | details
The scholarship will cover their studies only within the time frame of their original award (eg, Master’s level for a total of 6 semesters totaling $100,000, payable in installments of $16,667 per semester or $50,000 annually). Recipients of the Ariel Food Institute Scholarships will be known as Ariel Scholars.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the University of Guelph Ariel Food Institute Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be domestic or international students
- Applicants must be PhD and Master’s student candidates
- Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time degree program
- Graduate program applicants in the fall semester after the application deadline with a minimum first-class admission average (A-)
- Applicants whose research aligns with a vision Ariel Food Institute.

Application procedures
How to apply: Applicants must submit an application for admission to a postgraduate program at the University of Guelph and submit a complete application (includes: statement of research and personal motivation; letter of support from prospective Guelph supervisor; and CV) due to the Office of Graduates & Postdoctoral Studies by March 5th annually.
