University of Dundee Global Excellence Scholarship | details
This scholarship is worth £6,000 and is awarded as a tuition fee waiver. No payment is made directly to any applicant. The scholarship is payable in each applicable academic year: a. Undergraduate applicants can receive the scholarship for up to 5 years of advanced study. (30 thousand pounds sterling over 5 years).
Where the course is a 3.5-year undergraduate degree (Business School), the scholarship will only apply in the second year onwards. Postgraduate taught applicants (including Masters by Research and Masters by Research) – where the course is over 12 months full-time and a full year’s tuition fee is due in each academic year, then the scholarship may be applied in both years of study.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the University of Dundee Global Excellence Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be international students
- Have an offer to study an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Dundee
- Undergraduate – You must have a full-time offer, on a campus course – this does not include any medical or dental school course. Note: The course must be 120 credit hours
- Postgraduate coursework – must have a full-time offer, on a campus course at any academic school. Note that the course must consist of 180 credits, apart from the PGDip in Professional Legal Practice.
- This scholarship covers MA by Research and Masters by Research courses.
- Undergraduate – UK BBB A-Level or above (or equivalent). • Postgraduate coursework – first UK degree (or equivalent).
- UK equivalencies for all academic qualifications are at the discretion of the University of Dundee.
- Be classified as an international fee-paying student by the University of Dundee.
- Not studying a PhD course.
- Receive a course tuition fee of £19,600
- Note: Any course that does not have a fee of this value or higher, will not be considered for this award.

The University of Dundee Admissions Team will use all information on an applicant’s course application to determine if they meet the eligibility criteria. This verification process will happen in the initial rendering phase.
