Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Swedish Institute Management Programme, applicants must meet the required criteria as follows:
- They must be highly motivated to run their business in a sustainable manner and promote sustainable business practices in your country.
- You are a citizen of Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda or Zambia.
- You are between 25 and 50 years old (born in 1972-1996).
- You work in an organization. We are looking for business leaders who are already CEOs or senior managers of a small or medium-sized enterprise, or directors of a large and distinguished department in a large organization, and who take responsibility for the profits of their business.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of making things happen.
- You are willing to support and share your experience and knowledge with other participants.
- You have a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
- You have a post-secondary education.
- You have access to high speed internet for interactive video meetings.

How to apply: Interested applicants for the Swedish Institute Management Program 2023 for Africans must complete Online ordering By the application deadline.
You need to follow the following steps to submit your application:
- Register your profile in the application portal.
- Select the program you wish to apply for.
- Answer all the questions for the different sections in the application portal (located in the right-hand menu).
- Upload your resume and a letter of recommendation from your employer under Documents section, photo under Other section. A CV is mandatory, a letter of recommendation is not but recommended. Sample available here.
- After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
