Peking University Scholarships (Foreign Students) | details
The scholarship is categorized into two categories: full and partial scholarships. The full scholarship covers tuition fees, monthly stipend (including living allowance), and medical insurance. The partial scholarship covers tuition fees only.
The monthly stipend is awarded as follows:-
Undergraduate: CNY 2,000/month
Postgraduate studies: 2500 CNY/month
PhD: 3000 CAD/month
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible for the Peking University Scholarship (Foreign Students), applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be international students
- The applicant must hold an offer to study at Peking University as a foreign student
- Applicants must be a freshman at the university
- Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time program
- Applicants who have not received any other scholarship funding
- Applicants seeking undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Students who have enrolled in a professional degree program, joint degree program and English taught programs are not eligible to apply.

How to apply: To be considered for the Peking University Scholarship (International Students), applicants must visit the PKU Online Application System (http://www.studyatpku.com)Click on “Application for Scholarship” – “New Student”, fill out the application form and submit it.
- Please submit your appeal letter in person to ISDPKU or mail it before the deadline.
- The committee will evaluate the applications
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be submitted for final review
- The list of successful candidates will be announced.
