Applications are currently invited from outstanding candidates to register for 2023 PhD Scholarship Program in Engineering for Development (E4D) At ETH Zurich, Switzerland. The E4D program is generously funded by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
The goal of the Engineering for Development (E4D) program is to advance research and education for the disadvantaged in low-income countries. The amount of the scholarship is 175,000 Swiss francs to cover the costs of stipends for PhD students for a period of three years.

- Applicants must have a high level of English language proficiency is essential ( The following certificates accepted)
- Maximum age for applicants: 40 years
- Applicants must have an excellent MA or MSc degree with high academic performance
- Only contact an ETH professor with a specific project idea
