Federal Skilled Worker Program of the Government of Canada It is a program targeting skilled workers with foreign work experience and qualifications who are interested in moving to Canada permanently with their families. Skilled Worker Immigration Programs are permanent residence programs where successful applicants obtain Canadian permanent resident status.
The Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program requires that applicants be highly skilled in a required occupation and also meet the criteria set forth as required by the processing office.

Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program 2023/24 | Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Federal Skilled Worker Program offered by the Government of Canada, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Skilled work experienceYou must have at least one year, in the past 10 years prior to submitting your online application for permanent residence, full-time continuous work experience (or part-time continuous work equivalent) in a skilled occupation listed as TEER 0, 1, or 2 or 3 of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC).
- Language ability: You must prove that you meet or exceed the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 language limit with test results from the IRCC-designated language testing organization.
- education: You must submit either a Canadian educational credential or a foreign educational credential along with an Educational Credential Assessment Report for Immigration Purposes from a designated organization to prove that your degree, degree, or certification abroad is equivalent to a completed Canadian educational degree. (Points will be awarded based on completed Canadian educational credentials or the value of a foreign educational credential in Canadian Standards).

These requirements are part of a 100-point grid used to assess eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You earn points for doing well in each of the six factors. The current passing mark is 67 points.
