USIU-Africa Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2023: The United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) is pleased to announce its partnership with MasterCard Foundation Global Scholars Program.
The initiative will provide academically talented young people from Africa who face financial or gender constraints, displacement or disability the opportunity to access a world-class university education.

USIU-Africa Mastercard Foundation Scholarships 2023 | Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must;
1. You must be 29 years of age or younger at the time of application
2. Satisfy minimum university entrance grades of C+ and above or its equivalent as set by Kenya
University Education Committee. Applicants interested in courses in the Faculty of Pharmacy and
Health Sciences must have an average grade of B- or equivalent and at least a C+ or B- in the group
Subjects English, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. International applicants must meet
Opposite.
3. Must be interested in any of the 13 approved undergraduate degree programs (detailed in Application form) for the Scholars program at USIU-Africa under the following schools
- Science and Technology
- Pharmacy and health sciences
- Communication, Film and Creative Arts
- Business Management
- Humanities and Social Sciences

Scholarship benefits
The summary of benefits will include;
- tuition and job fees;
- notebooks, books and other educational materials;
- reasonable accommodation and meals;
- medical insurance
- a wage.
- transportation to and from home;

- access to entrepreneurship training;
- Psychosocial support, career counseling and counseling.
- Disability needs will be reasonably met

How to apply: Interested applicants for the USIU-Africa Mastercard Foundation Scholarship can apply through the following steps:
- A: Interested applicants may fill in the application form enclosed in this call for applications. They can also be downloaded from the website at this link: https://www.usiu.ac.ke/mastercardfoundation-scholars-program. Application forms may also be picked up from the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program office in the School of Graduate Studies, Research and Extension, Second Floor.
- B. Before filling out the application form, please read all instructions and required information.
- c- Submit a complete application along with other required supporting documents by e-mail ensuring that the scanned copy of the scholarship application form and all required documents are scanned in PDF format. Clearly label during submission stating your name and nationality as the email address: mcfsp-applications@usiu.ac.ke or drop your application at the Scholars Program office, located in the USIUAfrica Graduate School, Research and Extension building.
